Night Owls Night of Rock

Updated: Nov 17, 2021

Thursday, 11th of November was the epic live music event by Nightowl Gigs. With class acts such as Eve MacLennan, The Outcome, Conflict Hope, and Drawback, taking to the stage it was nothing short of amazing!

Now if you were too busy watching Netflix on a Thursday night, you get a pass because I have all the tea.

Starting things off was powerhouse Eve MacLennan. 18-year-old singer-songwriter from Glasgow showed off her intense vocals by singing original music such as ‘Daisy’. With just herself and her guitar, MacLennan was raw and beautiful in her performance. It was truly one you did not want to miss!

Next up was Glasgow's newest indie rock band, The Outcome. Newly formed, the band was ready to take to the stage. These guys were ready to show off their skills and to share the stage with good friend Eve MacLennan to perform their debut single ‘Champagne’. With strong likeliness to Red Hot Chilli Peppers ‘ Californication, the single was a hit!

Conflict Hope took to the stage next. Coming all the way from Dundee to play Glasgow for the first time, these hard-rockers were prepped and ready to go! From start to finish, Conflict Hope were bursting with energy, performing a cover of Biffy Clyro's‘ Whos Got A Match?’, it was no surprise to see the crowd chanting along!

Completing the night was Glasgow's own indie duo ‘Drawback’. Taking a more laid-back approach than their support acts, Drawback performed their debut single ‘Pick Myself Up’. With a unique take on indie-rock, these guys are ones to watch.

Haven't you missed live music blaring through speakers to the point you can't hear yourself think? Me too. Nightowl Gigs put on 1 hell of a show, showcasing local acts ready to rock!
