Estevans: Live in Glasgow

Estevans: The Poetry Club

Oh, it feels good to be back in tiny little venues, with strangers, listening to the bands of Glasgow.

Wednesday, 6th of October, The Estevans took to the stage of The Poetry Club, SWG3. With support from Paisley natives, Scunnurt. Scunnurt is a four-piece, post-punk band. With strong influences from Nirvana and Radiohead, the band produce a new take on 90’s grunge filled with strong bass lines & foot-tapping drum beats.

The guys gave nothing but energy & got the mosh pits jumping!

Now, for the headliners. Estevans, after having to cancel their show in Newcastle the night before, the guys were geared up & ready to get on stage. This 4 piece Indie band from Guildford took a small venue and made it feel like they were performing to thousands.

Performing their latest single ‘Cecilys Cage’ the lads gave it their all. Showing their strong love for indie greats such as The Strokes & Arctic Monkeys!

Unfortunately, Glasgow trains were not in my favour & I was unable to watch the entire show...But that just means I need to go next time Estevans play Glasgow!

Check out their tour dates here!
