Polly.
Edinburgh's 4-piece that started in a humbled college practice room is breaking local music scenes one district at a time.
Awaiting the release of their debut album, ‘SLUMP’, the band has released their 4th single ‘8-TRACK’. A heavily inspired grunge piece with great reminiscence to grunge legends, Nirvana. With a twist of course. Slipping in some country drum beats topped with that glorious distorted guitar (chefs kiss). I could listen to the drums, Cameron Gorman, and bass, Hamish Gill, bounce off and meld together all day if I was allowed.
Vocalist Cameron Gorman shows expert talent with his controlled vocals throughout the track. Allowing us into the deepest crevices of his mind, no secrets are hidden within this mind-melting diary. Supporting vocals, Rogan Paul, uses his skills to truly back Gorman and add to the depth of the vocal line.
The track gives us a backstage pass into the writer's mind. Dark, heavy, and honest. The track has no hidden working, it is as pure as the writer needs it to be. And it is powerful.
After their top hit gig at Sneaky Petes, Edinburgh, Polly is set to take on The Hug and Pint, Glasgow. Will you be there?
