Aberdeen trio Shangri-La have been reformed to bring us brand new music. After a break since 2014, the band have found new members, new sound, and newfound direction. These 3 guys have been exploring their new sound throughout the last 2 years and they have found it!
‘Intervals’ is the latest single from Shangri-La, released late in the year the band is set for success. The single features writing from both Levi Kelman (Vocals) and Jack Nisbet (Guitar).
‘Intervals’ keeps a classic 90’s indie sound with Kelman's smooth vocals, Nisbets distorted guitar riffs with a dash of U2 rock vibes provided by the talented Matthew Norval on drums.
‘I don't know where we go from here’
Inspired by the beloved Bombay Bicycle Club and DMA, Shangri-La have worked to mesh the timeless sound of grunge and upbeat kick beats. With new music coming in the new year and a host of gigs set up (hopefully), it's obvious you’re going to want to have these guys in your rotation!
